Tweet Anyone?

I have what I thought was nice little feature on the left sidebar, a little ways down, you may have seen it. It was my Twitter updates. I don't know how many people actually paid attention to it, but I thought having the updates show was nice way to keep my blog looking somewhat lively everyday, even when I wasn't able to post very often. Such as right now (remember, it's our "get the magazine done" season!).

I have been well aware for some time now, that I have a certain group of persons who keep a very close eye on things such as my blogs, our websites and yes, my twitter page. This hasn't especially bothered me up till another recent event that has made my group of "silent watchers" grow.

I'm no longer comfortable with this arrangement and have decided to lock down my twitter completely. I had only just last week locked my updates to keep off the spammers, but I believe they were still showing on my blog as I intended. Recent events however, have made me think it's better I keep it off completely publicly. Somehow I feel this odd sense of protection in only letting in people I know and want in. It's quite relieving actually!

So, why am I saying all this? Because even though my "protected" Twitter page doesn't look very inviting, I wanted to invite anyone with good intentions, who would like to chat a bit, or see what I'm doing to feel free to add me as a friend on twitter! Or, if you don't have a Twitter, also feel free to make one yourself and then add me :)

It's been the quickest way for me to chat with anyone, including a very dear friend.. who often has to wait a month to really hear from me! I tend to disappear during our busy magazine seasons, but I'm on Twitter pretty much everyday.

If you know I probably don't know you, drop me a line in a comment here on my blog, or my email, tell me who you are and your Twitter user name so I'll know you're okay!

you know, dear, with the twitter page, I forget it takes so long for us to e-mail! I'm not bothered by the fact! : ) for your comfort =)

Love ya!
Michelle

P.S. oh, and I'm just going to get the 'big' pleater from you, but save and wait till your moved and settled, sides I wasn't going to use it till after my quilt was done anyhow! =) which I'm taking a break from until after we get moved! : )
happy working on your magazine!! can't wait for it, me dear!

Yes dearie, it does take the "wait" out of the emails! ;) Which is nice, 'cause it only takes me forever sometimes!! Plus, if we had IM, neither of us would ever get anything done! =D

Okey dokey on the pleater :) Yes, the big one is a good to have so you can smock 'bigger' sewing items. Such as the tops of little girls dresses, I love those dresses that are smocked from shoulder to shoulder! :D

Love you! ~Jess

Aw, thanks Earwen =)

Well, if you ever get a twitter, I'd love to have you on there!

I used to do the IM thing, but no more, it burns up too much daylight! I have an IM, but I only use it to talk to my Mom when I'm upstairs and she's downstairs!! :P

That's why I like Twitter, I can tweet what I'm doing, say hello to whoever.. and LEAVE! Bonus: The 140 character limit helps keep ya from running your mouth too long =D

Although, now that I think about it.. Michelle and I are capable of sending 10 tweets at a time to each other *blushing*

Thanks for stopping by! ~Jess

Hello Jessica! I was just wondering if you still run Kindred Hearts Pen Pals?
Thanks
Katherine Alice

Hello Katherine!

No, we had to close the Kindred Hearts for a while. The lady who was doing it was not working out, and then it turned out to be work overload on Mom and I doing it.

We are still considering whether or not to open it again. If we do, it will only be if we have people helping us with it =)

So keep watching, we may do it again! I know we have a LOT of ladies who would like us to do it again =)
